# Snag

> Snag is a fun surprise way to shop. Themed mystery packs from $1 to $50, clear odds, prize IOUs you can redeem for shipping, and Shopify-funded wallet balance — including last-minute balance gifts claimed at `/c/<code>`.

Snag is the consumer product at https://snag.city/, operated by Higher LLC. You add cash with Shopify. Packs spend that server balance. Each opening creates a prize IOU — an obligation to source that item, not a SKU already sitting in a warehouse. Redeeming for shipping creates a Shopify order for that one prize. Selling a prize adds its stated catalog value back to cash balance. Balance is for packs and shipping, not a bank payout. Stripe card checkout is off.

Signed-out visitors can preview a pack reveal; those finds are not kept. A verified U.S. mobile number creates one account, grants $1.00 once, and is how gift links are claimed. Snag texts verification codes only — not marketing.

There is no public MCP server, OpenAPI checkout, or agent-payable gift API. Commerce stays on Shopify in the browser.
